THREE-PHASE AC PLASMA · MADE IN FRANCE

Plasma heat and clean hydrogen, without the CO₂.

Plasma torches above 3,000 °C and HyPlasma® units that turn (bio)methane into hydrogen and solid carbon — in continuous industrial operation.

WHO WE ARE

We built the first three-phase AC plasma torch. Then we built the plant around it.

Plenesys is a multi-award-winning French deep-tech company founded in 2018. Our PhDs and engineers design plasma torches for clean high-temperature heat, and turnkey HyPlasma® units that produce hydrogen and carbon black from (bio)methane.

Plasma Torch

Clean power for industry: electric high-temperature heat that integrates into existing furnaces and reactors.

HyPlasma® Tech

Clean production of hydrogen and carbon black: modular turnkey units fed with (bio)methane, with no direct CO₂.

HOW IT WORKS

CH₄ → 2 H₂ + C. No combustion, so no CO₂.

The plasma arc splits methane directly into hydrogen and solid carbon. Unlike steam reforming, nothing is burned or oxidised.

  1. (Bio)methane in — natural gas, biogas or flare gas, 1–6 barg.
  2. Three-phase plasma arc — above 3,000 °C; the arc’s motion mixes the gas, no oxygen involved.
  3. Hydrogen and solid carbon out — two valuable products, zero direct CO₂.
